Make your restaurant menu sign useful.

Start with a public menu link

Use the address of your menu webpage or an already hosted PDF. Open it on a phone while signed out before making the sign. Customers should reach the menu without an owner login or an expired sharing link. This generator creates the QR sign; it does not upload, host or translate your menu.

Make the invitation clear

Use a short heading and instructions such as “Scan to see our menu.” The wording fields let you add your restaurant name or a brief note about ordering. Keep menu descriptions and prices on the destination page, where they can be updated without crowding the sign. The editor checks whether your wording fits the selected paper.

Print for the table or counter

Choose A5 for a small stand, or A4 or Letter for a larger notice. The download is one portrait page, rather than a folded tent card. Print at Actual size or 100%, preserve the white margin and test your final stand. Dim lighting, glare, a curved surface and a distant code can make scanning harder.

Keep an alternative available

A customer may have no phone, a flat battery or difficulty using a camera. The default footer invites people to ask for a printed menu; change it to match the help your team can actually provide. After updating the menu, check the same public link again. If its address changes, make a replacement sign.

Common questions

Can I use a PDF menu?

Yes, if the PDF is already at a public HTTP or HTTPS address. Paste that address, then check that it opens on a phone without signing in.

Can I update the menu after printing?

You can update the page at the same address. The printed QR code keeps its original address; to use a different address, create a new sign.

Are PDF and PNG downloads free?

Yes. Both formats are free, with no account or forced watermark. Choose A4, A5 or US Letter and edit the wording before downloading. The new sign editor is in English; the original QR generator is available in the existing language versions.
