BEFORE YOU PUT IT ON DISPLAY
Make your visit a website sign useful.
Link directly to the useful page
Paste an HTTP or HTTPS address. You can enter a bare domain and the editor adds https://. Link to the page that matches the invitation, such as a portfolio, booking page or product information. The exact normalized address is shown below the preview. The generator does not visit that address or certify its content.
Tell people what they will find
Replace the default heading with your business, project or invitation. Use the instructions to say why someone should scan: browse the collection, book an appointment or learn about the display. The optional footer can provide a short alternative or a help note. Short wording stays easier to read across a room.
Download and check the paper size
Choose A4, A5 or US Letter. PDF records that exact page size and keeps the QR modules as vector shapes. PNG is a 200 dpi page image; set the corresponding portrait paper when printing it. Keep white space around the code, use Actual size or 100%, and turn off browser-added headers and footers.
Test the whole visit
Scan the downloaded copy, then scan a printed copy in its intended position. Confirm that the destination opens on a phone and still does what your sign promises. The code has no Factory service expiry, but a website can move, become unavailable or change its content. Keep the address working or print a replacement.
Common questions
Will the printed QR code expire?
The static code has no Factory service expiry. It continues to encode the original address; the destination itself must stay available.
Can I remove the watermark?
There is no forced watermark or Factory branding on your downloaded sign. Edit the heading, instructions and footer to suit your space.
Are PDF and PNG downloads free?
Yes. Both formats are free, with no account or forced watermark. Choose A4, A5 or US Letter and edit the wording before downloading. The new sign editor is in English; the original QR generator is available in the existing language versions.
