Free Printable Wi-Fi QR Sign

Give guests a simple way to join your network. Make a sign for a holiday rental, cafe, reception desk or spare room, using the guest network you intend to share.

BEFORE YOU PUT IT ON DISPLAY

Make your guest wi-fi sign useful.

Use a guest network

Enter the network name exactly as it appears on your router, including capital letters and spaces. Choose WPA/WPA2 personal or an open network. A separate guest network is a useful way to share access without handing out your main household or office credentials. This tool does not configure the router or verify that the network is available.

Decide whether to print the password

The password field starts masked, and readable password text is off by default. You can include that text on the sign for people who prefer to enter it manually. Either way, the QR code contains the password: anyone who has the sign can decode it. Place the sign where your intended guests can see it and replace it after changing the password.

Choose a place guests can scan

A5 is convenient for a small frame or reception stand; A4 or Letter gives you a larger page. Keep the code flat and its white border clear. Avoid covering it with reflective material or placing it where guests must scan through a window. Test a printed copy from the distance at which visitors will stand.

If a phone does not join

First compare the network name, password and security choice with the router. Confirm the network is in range and accepts new devices. Try another phone or enter the details manually. Hidden networks and different phone readers can behave differently. Enterprise authentication, WEP and WPA3-only networks are outside this generator.

Common questions

Can I make a Wi-Fi sign without a password?

Yes. Select Open network. The code omits a password, and the readable-password option is removed. Make sure you intend to offer an open network.

Does the QR sign hide my Wi-Fi password?

No. Masking the editor field or leaving readable password text off does not encrypt the QR contents. Share only credentials intended for the people who can access the sign.

Are PDF and PNG downloads free?

Yes. Both formats are free, with no account or forced watermark. Choose A4, A5 or US Letter and edit the wording before downloading. The new sign editor is in English; the original QR generator is available in the existing language versions.
